The Goalie

Back when Jeff first told me he wanted to be goalie I was really against it as I thought he was too young and needed to understand the game more but he didn't give up on his dream and kept after me to let him try. He proved to me how wrong I was with his first full season as our goalie. He amazes not only me but everyone else with how well he plays and tracks the puck stopping kids 3 and 4 years older then he is game after game, pretty amazing for kid that turned six only in November. The really amazing thing is he has had very little coaching everything he does is natural and just him doing what needs to do to stop the puck. He leads the league with the lowest goals against by almost double and there is now no doubt in my mind that if he stays with it he will be one very good goalie.
